Theatre in the Mist continues to reach thousands of theatre attendees with our professional-quality performances. Producing quality live theatre is costly and could not happen without the continuing support of our faithful audiences, and friends. In this unstable time of Arts Funding please consider partnering Theatre in the Mist, a proven successful theatre to help enrich the arts and culturals in your community. In addition to this enrichment for our patrons, consider the student and children who through Theatre in the Mist are afforded the opportunity to participate and grow through live theatre.
To help convince you, take a look at this past season’s achievements:
- This year Theatre in the Mist has received 6 roving adjudicator awards from the Theatre Association of New York (TANYS) for our first two productions, The Wizard of Oz and Home for the Holidays in the areas of acting, vocals, directing, and playwriting.
- This year Theatre in the Mist presented the first Lisa Gravel Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship to Meghan Smith, an undergraduate at Niagara University pursuing a degree in Theatre Studies.
- Theatre in the Mist received an Arts Decentralization Grant from New York State for our production of The Wizard of Oz.
- And finally, our production of Nunsense II – The Second Coming was chosen as 1 of 7 productions out of 82 statewide to compete in the Theatre Association of New York’s Annual Festival winning two of the Festival’s top awards.
