The Lisa Gravel Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship
This scholarship was founded in memory of a dedicated friend and member to Theatre in the Mist, Lisa Gravel. Lisa served TITM in many capacities along with her husband Mark and daughter Kelly from onstage, off stage and everything in between.
Unexpectedly Lisa passed away in 2008 after our first annual fundraiser Broadway in the Mist. We found it only fitting to name this scholarship for such an outstanding mother, educator, and community member and Broadway in the Mist continues as an annual fundraiser where all the proceeds benefit the scholarship fund for future years.
The Lisa Gravel Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship will be bestowed annually to a WNY resident pursuing an undergraduate degree in the performing arts including but not limited to Acting, Dance, Music, Directing, Design, etc.
Applications are available online or at the box office with requirements, rules and regulations.
The second annual presentation of the Lisa Gravel Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship will be at our Fall production of Seussical in Sept 2012.
